Terms and Conditions

General

Be Green is able To provide exceptional lawn and snow service at great prices with your help.  Please ensure that your property is ready for our cruise to perform their duties. Summer all toys tools charged and doggie doo doo et cetera are to be removed from the lawn area before your scheduled day of mowing. Winter please ensure all Bin’s toys et cetera are removed from driveways and walkways.

Billing

We accept Visa Mastercard Apple Pay and Google pay. If you are on the by service plan, your payment will be processed the day after the service is completed. If you were on a monthly plan your payment will be process first day of each month. If your payment is declined we will contact you for a new card number and a $50 NSF fee will be charged. All services will be suspended until full payment has been received.

Issues

Please contact the office within 24 hours to report any issues with your service. We can send a crew member back if the issue is justified or corrected on our next visit. If you want to make a special request to change your lawn day for an event IE birthday party please give us at least 48 hours notice. 


 

Office hours

Summer hours are April 1 to October 15, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturdays by appointment only.

Winter hours are October 16 to March 31, seven days a week 24 hours a day.

 Please do not give instructions to the crew members, all information must be emailed to ensure that it is placed on the daily route sheets.

Contract renewal

We consider you a client for life.  If we do not receive an email from you 30 days prior to the end of your contract, we will renew your contract and continue your services.  Summer services will renew each spring. Winter services will renew on the first snowfall of each year.  Year-round services renew on the contract date each year. 

Contracts

Upon signing the contract there is a two month minimum.  If the contract is cancelled within the first two months, a fee of $150 will be charged to your card on file.  The contract can be cancelled at anytime after the two months with no fees.  Please call to discuss any issues before canceling your contract, there is a solution for every problem.

SUMMER SERVICES

 

Basic information

Basic lawn services include mowing grass, trimming and blowing the clippings.  Please ensure that all people and pets are inside or away from the property while the work is being done.

Mowing days

You will be assigned a mowing day when you sign up. We will cut on this day every week unless we notify you or the weather does not permit us to cut that day.  In that case we will cut your property on the following day. 

Pets and Gates

All pets are to be inside while we are on property.  Doggie doo-doo must be picked up before we arrive. If there is too much doggy doo doo, we will not cut, but you will still be charged as we showed up to perform our services.

All gates are to be unlocked or key left and agreed upon location. If the gate is locked and we cannot gain access, you will still be charged for the service as we were there but could not do the required service.


Winter services

Snowfalls

Snow will be cleared every time it snows. We aim to clear properties down to bare pavement, within 24 hours of the last snowflake falling, often even sooner.

Weather conditions

During extreme snowfalls we operate at all hours of the day and night. In continuous snowfalls it may appear that we have not been, but in fact we were there very early and will be back on our next rotation.

Surfaces

We are not liable for any damages to any surfaces. If wind blown snow accumulates to large amounts and needs to be cleared, please notify the office to schedule a clearing.

 

Back areas

Porches, decks and yard / back area are not part of the normal snow clearing. They can be done upon request at an additional cost.

Non-snow periods

Spot checks will be done to ensure that all walkways and driveways are clear and safe.
